CPR/AED Level C.

Learn how to respond to a cardiovascular emergency

This course will give you the knowledge and skills to act quickly during a cardiovascular emergency or an airway obstruction.

You will learn how to:

• recognize the signs of a cardiovascular emergency;
• perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR);
• use an automated external defibrillator (AED);
• help someone who is choking;
• take essential emergency measures while waiting for medical services to arrive.

The course is based on the latest guidelines for CPR and emergency care. With a strong focus on hands-on practice, you will develop the confidence and skills to respond effectively at work, in a public place or at home.

Entirely in-class training (5 hours)

You will practise:  

• CPR;
• using an AED;
• clearing an obstructed airway;
• responses suited to the age groups covered by the level you choose.

The goal is to help you develop the right responses and act with confidence in a real emergency.

After you register

Once your registration is complete, you will receive two emails:  

• an email from Impact Santé confirming your registration for the in-class training;

Prerequisites

None.

Completion requirements

To receive your certification, you must:  

• demonstrate proficiency in the skills taught and the critical steps;
• achieve a minimum score of 75% on the written assessment;
• attend and actively participate throughout the course.

Certification

Upon successfully completing the course, you will receive an official CPR/AED Level A or C certificate, depending on the course taken.

This certificate is valid for three years.

Renewal

CPR/AED Level C certification can be renewed in 3.5 hours.
